Robert Parrish

LUCAMA – Robert Lewis Parrish, 53, died Sunday, January 16, 2022.

Funeral, Wednesday, 6:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.  Interment, Thursday, 3:00 PM, Nobles Chapel Church Cemetery.

Surviving is his wife, Sherry Walston Parrish; daughters, Whitney Parrish (Vince Farmer) and Lisa Parrish (Adam Bundy) of Black Creek; step-daughter, Summer Brinson (Matt) of Sims; granddaughter, Jessie Marie Farmer of Black Creek; sisters, Pam Sasser of Selma and Phyllis Johnson (Danny) of Bailey; brothers, Eugene Parrish, Bryan Parrish and Donald Parrish (Gail) all of Lucama, Ronald Parrish (Ann) of Wilson; 12 nieces and nephews; and his loving companions, Snuggles and Pebbles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Clyde Marie Collier Parrish.

Robert had worked at the former Village Grocery in Lucama and later with Southern Piping Company, Freedom Industries and Eastbound Mechanical.  He had been a volunteer fireman and first responder with Crossroads Fire Department, Lucama, for a total of 34 years.
