Ida Rose Craft Harrell, 97, of Saratoga, passed away peacefully Monday, October 25, 2021.
Graveside service, Friday, October 29 at 2:00 PM, Evergreen Memorial Park, followed by visitation.
Ida Rose was blessed with an abundant life and dearly loved her family, friends, and Tar Heel basketball. She was Mama, Grandma, Gran-Gram, Gigi, Granny, Miss Ida Rose, Rosa, Aunt and many titles. With a strong will and amazing memory, she made her mark and taught us well. We are very grateful.
Survivors include daughters, Mary H. McGee of Asheville and Betty H. Wooten (John) of Wilson; grandchildren, Susan G. Stephens (Brent) of Winston-Salem, Jimmie “Richie” Grimsley (Ashley) of Cary, Charles Eugene McGee (Katie) of Asheville, Tyson Harrell Wooten (Jan) of Wilson and William Eugene Wooten (Diego) of Washington, DC; great-grandchildren, Luke Stephens, Matthew Stephens, Ali Grimsley, Brooke Grimsley, Mariella McGee, Graham McGee, Lily Wooten and Liza Wooten.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eugene Harrell; daughter, Barbara Jean Grimsley; grandson, James Edward McGee IV; sons-in-law, Dr. Jimmie R. Grimsley and James E. McGee III; brother, Douglas Craft.
