FREMONT - Willard J. Ballance, 75, died Friday, July 12, 2013, at home surrounded by his family.
Funeral, Sunday, 3 PM, Fremont United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Dede Britt and assisted by Rev. Lindsay Ballance Collins and Daniel Collins. Interment will follow in Ballance Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home following the interment.
Willard is survived by his wife, Eleanor Mooring Ballance; daughters, Faye Davis (Frankie) of Fremont and Elizabeth Rose (Todd) of Eureka; son, Todd Ballance (Deborah) of Fremont; grandchildren, Lindsay Collins (Daniel), Brittany Schroeder (Robert), Katlyn Ballance (Eric Schmidt), Landry Ballance, Brandon Davis (Kali and great-granddaughter, Peyton), Morgan Davis (Shawn Bomar), Anna Rose and Amber Rose; sisters, Ruby Buck of Fremont, Rena Faircloth of Goldsboro and Myrtle Braswell of Salisbury.
