WILSON - Wiley McCleese Etheridge, 75, died Thursday, April 8, 2010. Funeral, Sunday, 2 PM, Maplewood Cemetery, Old Section. "Pee Wee" retired from deliveries for Wilson Petroleum Company. He enjoyed all kinds of animals, was an avid Duke sports fan, licensed as an airplane pilot and was a member of Mount Lebanon Masonic Lodge 117. He continued contact with the public doing deliveries part time for NAPA Auto Parts. Surviving is his wife, Sarah Davis Etheridge; daughter, Kim Raynor (Dana) of Buckhorn; sons, Billy Etheridge (Nancy) of Wilson and David Etheridge of Macclesfield; grandsons, Brandon Etheridge (Kellie), John Thomas Etheridge (Jessica) and Joey Etheridge; step-grandchildren, Sherri Varble and Sid Turner; great-grandchild, Madison Etheridge; sisters, Leigh Mantooth, Verdie Bass and Judy Connor all of Wilson, Yvonne Dail of Stantonsburg and Bobbie Barfield of Charlotte; brothers, James "Bud" Etheridge of Wilson and Johnny Etheridge of Mooresville. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Saturday, 5-6:30 PM.
