WILSON - W. Earl Dail, 91, died Saturday, June 8, 2013.
Funeral, Tuesday, 11:00 AM, Forest Hills Baptist Church. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery, Section G.
He retired as a rural mail carrier with over 40 years in the Black Creek area having served in the Army in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Sadie Walston Dail; sister, Lena Rivers Coley; brothers, George, Ralph and Ray Dail.
Surviving is his wife, Marie Fields Dail; daughters, Earlene Pitts (Eugene) of Bailey and Cheryl Barton (Charlie) of Lake Toxaway; grandchildren, David Dew (Angie) of Brevard, Julie Pitts Kennedy (Jason) of Raleigh, Steve Pitts (Stephanie) of Bailey, Brooke Barton McGuirt (Jared) of Chapel Hill and Blake Barton of Morrisville; great-grandchildren, Aaron and Alex Dew, Jason and William Kennedy; sisters, Ruby Bartlett of Kinston, Mary Taylor of Newport News, VA, and Cleo Smith of High Point; brothers, Henry and Robert Dail of Wilson, Jerry Dail of Stantonsburg and Donnie Dail of Hampton, VA.
The family will be at Forest Hills Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Monday, 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
