Virginia Winborne

SILVER SPRING, MD - Virginia S. Winborne, 87, died April 9 at Kindley Assisted Living, Asbury Methodist Village. She was the beloved wife of the late Sidney "Al" Winborne. Born in 1923 in Wayne County, NC, and preceded in death by brothers Wayman and Wilbert Sasser, sisters, Margaret Greene, Hazel Bracey and Ruth Sitterson. Virginia received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland and retired from Lockheed Martin Corporation. She was the loving mother of Julie Brill Jensen of Rockville, MD, and Jonathan Winborne of Montgomery Village, MD and loving grandmother of Katie and Kara Winborne. Funeral, Saturday, April 30, 2 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Inurnment, Maplewood Cemetery.
