Vickie Ballance Ellis, 81, of Lucama, died Saturday, April 5, 2025.

Funeral, Friday, 2:00 PM, Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Thursday, 6:00 – 7:30 PM.

Surviving are her daughters, Wendy Cumberland of Winston Salem and Prudence McGuigan of Mountain City, TN; granddaughters, Erica Cumberland, April Brigman (Geoffrey) and Kim Rich (Jim); grandsons, Tyler Cumberland and Richie Isaacs (Jennifer); step-grandsons, Ronald McGuigan (Danielle) and Joey McGuigan (Megan); 11 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Benjamin Ellis, Jr., in 1998; parents, Raymond and Lennie Mae Ferrell Ballance of Wilson County; sister, Emma Jean Wellons in 2018; brother, Felton Ballance last month on March 14th.

She retired from Heritage Bank, Lucama, and was a member of Little Rock OFWB Church.
