WILSON - Thelma Watson Turner, 88, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Funeral, Thursday, 10 AM, Maplewood Cemetery, Section G. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Turner; sisters, Ruby Currie, Beatrice Sharpe, Arlene Lamm and Lissie Turner; brothers, Verlon, Elton, Millard and Elmer Watson. Surviving are daughters, Luann Skinner (Danny) and Lynn Israel (Fred), both of Wilson; grandchildren, Neil Skinner (Gina), Ashley Smith (Keith) of Asheville, Shane Israel of Roanoke Rapids, Cam Israel (Angi) of Wilmington; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Kate Smith, Mason and Van Israel, Nathan Skinner; brother, Clifton Watson (Joyce) of Wilson. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Wilson Medical Center, 1705 Tarboro St, SW, Wilson NC 27893 or to the charity of one's choice. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Wednesday, 6 - 7:30 PM.
