WILSON - Thedie L. Smith, 87, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013.
Funeral, Thursday, 11 AM, Maplewood Cemetery. The family will be at the home following the funeral.
He was retired from Suburban Propane with 41 years of service and had served in the Marines.
Thedie was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Lamm Smith in January of this year.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim Vick (Neil) of Saratoga; sons, Carlyle Smith (Betsy) and Quincey Smith (friend, Karen) of Wilson; grandchildren, Heather Stanczyk (Mariusz), Amanda Ross (Mark), Philip Todd (Lisa) and John Todd (Jennifer), Claire Brown (David), Hunter Smith (Leigh Ann), Brooke Langley (Ronnie); 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Belle Smith of Lucama; brothers, George Smith and Simpson Smith (Jewel) of Wilson and Ed Smith (Libby) of Goldsboro
