STANTONSBURG - Sylvia Baker Webb, 75, of the Holdens Cross Roads community, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 8, 2013.
Funeral, Friday, 7 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Interment, Saturday, 10 AM, Macclesfield Cemetery.
Sylvia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved farming with her husband and loved all animals, particularly her dogs. She was active in her church, Owens Chapel FWB Church.
Surviving is her husband of 55 years, Bruce "Nig" Webb; daughter, Robin Brown (Mike) of Wilson; sons, Marshall Webb of Rocky Mount, Ricky Webb (Sue) of Stantonsburg; grandchildren, Thomas Webb, Leigh Webb, Josh Webb, Rachel Brown and Meredith Brown; brother, Michael Baker of Elm City; sisters, Betsy Tanner of Louisburg and Peggy Tripp of Ayden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Gladys Walston Baker and brother, Jackie Baker.
