Sylvia Joyner Gregory, 73, of Rocky Mount, died Saturday, July 15, 2017, in her home.

Funeral, Wednesday, 11:00 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson. Burial, Rock Hill Cemetery near Milbournie FWB Church, Wilson. The family will be at the funeral home, Tuesday, 6:30 - 8:00 PM.

She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church, Rocky Mount and retired from Boice-Willis Clinic having worked with Dr. Bill Deans for 32 years. Time with her family was very important - especially her granddaughter, Lisa Renee - who was the apple of her eye. She was loved by all that knew her.

Sylvia is survived by her daughter, Cheri Dudley (James) of Elm City; granddaughter, Lisa Renee Dudley; sisters, Shirley Barnes of Elm City, Alice Godwin and Jean Barnes of Wilson and Lois Reif (Ronnie) of Chicago, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Mettie Joyner; sisters, Sue Creekmore, Loraine Starling and Ethel Williams; brothers, James, George and Joseph Joyner and special friend, Cliff Matthews.
