WILSON - Susan Gardner Vick, 81, of the Hornes Church community, died Monday, August 2, 2010. Funeral, Wednesday, 11 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. Preceding her in death was a son, Lennie Vick; parents, Walter and Martha Griffin Gardner; sisters, Florence "Pete" Barnes, Alice "Shine" Batts, Mary Ruth Owens and Gladys Pittman. Surviving is her husband, Jerome B. Vick; son, Edwin Jerome Vick (Dianne); grandchildren, Charlotte Ferrell (Dwayne) and Linwood Vick (Tammy); great-grandchildren, Hannah, Grayson, Eli and Zeke Ferrell, Emma and Wood Vick; daughter-in-law, Sharri Vick, all of the Hornes Church community; sisters, Ollie Mae Batts of Elm City and Marjorie Leonard of Louisburg; several nieces and nephews. The family will be at the home of Edwin Jerome and Dianne Vick.
