WILSON - Sudie McLeod Mixon, 98, died Monday, August 8, 2016.
Funeral, Tuesday, 6:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service followed by visitation. Interment, Wednesday, 11:00 AM, Evergreen Memorial Park.
Mrs. Mixon was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Mixon; three sisters and a brother. She had worked as Food Service Director at the Free Will Baptist Children's Home and the Eastern NC School for the Deaf.
She is survived by her son, Charles Mixon (Helen) of Elm City; daughter, Peggy Potter of New Bern; sister, Judy Parker of Benson; grandchildren, Janet Carr, Sharon Lewis (John), Andrea Potter and Shannon Mixon (Julie); great-grandchildren, Garrett Pair, Caroline Lewis, John Lewis and Eliza Mixon.
