Steve Corbett

WILSON - Steve W. Corbett, 66, of Wilson, died Thursday, November 19, 2015.
Funeral, Tuesday, 10 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed immediately by visitation. Interment will be at Maplewood Cemetery for all who would like to attend.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Wade T. Corbett. He was retired from Universal Leaf Tobacco Company. For the last several years he has worked at caring for his mother, family and friends. Although Steve had no biological children of his own, he was a father figure to many, grandfather to others, loved neighbor and friend to many. A man who marched to his own drummer, who made a tremendous difference to those whose lives he touched and who will be missed immensely.
He is survived by his mother, Cleo Johnson Corbett; brother, Stan Corbett and wife, Rena; niece, Erin L. Corbett and nephew, John T. Corbett, all of Wilson.
