Shirley Causway

Shirley Matthews Causway, 88, of Eureka, died Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

Funeral, Friday, 2:00 PM, at Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother (Granny).  She loved flowers and maintained a beautiful yard. She loved feeding and watching birds. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sherrie Mooring (Mike) of Eureka; granddaughter, Bridgett Minges (Landon) of Greenville; grandson, Tyler Mooring (Leslie) of Fremont; great-grandsons, Damian Mooring, Hudson Mooring and great-granddaughter, Landry Minges and expecting another great-granddaughter in May; brother, Billy Matthews (Beverly) of Hope Mills.

She was preceded in death by parents Alfred and Mildred Matthews, brother Dave Matthews, husbands Lee Causway and Ray Bass, and son Glenn Bass.
