Shirley Baker

Shirley Skinner Baker, 89, of Wilson, died Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

Funeral will be Monday, 11:00 AM, at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the home on 4513 Frank Price Church Rd, Wilson, on Sunday, 3:00 – 5:00 PM.

Mrs. Baker is survived by her daughter Dawn Peter (Rudy) of Wilson; son, Dean Baker (Melissa) of Kinston; grandchildren, Logan B. Pridgen (Josey), Landon Baker, Haley and Bryson Peter; great-grandson, Tabor Pridgen; sister, Dorothy Richardson of Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean “Buddy” Baker; parents, Jodie Thomas Skinner and Mollie Sharp Skinner; and brother, Dannie Skinner.
