WILSON - Russell L. Evans, 63, died October 3, 2008. He was retired from the NC Department of Transportation and had served in the Air Force in Vietnam. Funeral, Tuesday, 11 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, followed by burial in Evergreen Memorial Park. Surviving is his wife, Judy Boykin Evans: sons, Ryan Evans (Nikkie) of Wilson and Justin Evans (Heather) of Sims: grandchildren, Alex, Brooke, Eden and Nicholas Evans: brothers, Donnie Evans (Genny) and Ray Evans, both of Sims: nephew, Wesley Evans of Sims. The family will be at Wilson Memorial, Monday, 7 - 8 PM.
