WILSON - Ruby Lamm Holland, 94, went home to her Lord and Savior on October 5, 2018.
Funeral, Thursday, October 11, 2:00 PM, at Forest Hills Baptist Church, followed by visitation. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
Ruby was a beloved aunt, great-aunt, stepmother, step-grandmother, and friend to many. She was a devoted member of Forest Hills Baptist Church for 35 years. Prior to her retirement, she was a secretary for Jefferson Standard Life Insurance Company in Columbia, SC. After her retirement and upon her return to Wilson, she served on the Wilson County Board of Elections as a judge and was as a talented seamstress.
Ruby is survived by her nieces, Kathy Dixon (Jimmy) of Normal, IL and Barbara Stephens (Garry) of Fuquay-Varina; nephews Kent Lamm (Caroline) of Charlotte and Eddie Williamson (Betty) of St. Petersburg, Florida; step-daughters Debbie Holland and Monique Warren (Brent) of Taylorsville. She is also survived by many loving extended family members.
Mrs. Holland was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Holland; sister, Doris L. Williamson and brothers, Gray, Ray and Kenneth Lamm.
