Royce Skinner

Royce Carroll Skinner, 77, of Wilson, died Sunday, December 20, 2020.

Graveside service, Thursday, 11:00 AM at Evergreen Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Dr. Thomas J. Watkins.

Royce and his wife, Andra, owned and operated The Skinner Agency, Inc. for over 35 years. He served in the US Air Force. Royce will be remembered by his warm and caring spirit, as well as his ability to make everyone around him smile and laugh. He adored his family, was loved by many, and will be missed.

He is survived by his daughters, Kristie Skinner Bass (Jeffrey Bissette) of Wilson and Anna Skinner Perry (Phil Keeter) of Middlesex; grandsons, Alex Bass and Adam Bass; brothers, Louis Skinner of Pikeville, Ronnie Skinner (Sherry) of Wilson, Joe Skinner (Iddy) of Delaware, Ray Skinner (Kaphie) of Wilson; sister-in-law, Sara Brame Skinner of Arizona. Royce is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, whom he loved and adored.

Royce was predeceased by his wife, Andra Cone Skinner in 2003; son, Royce Kelly Skinner; parents, William and Polly Eatman Skinner; brothers, Thomas and James Skinner; sisters, Jean Skinner Bowers and Margaret Skinner Murray.
