Rosanne Harrell

Rosanne Williams Harrell, 55, of Elm City, died Friday, May 7, 2010. Funeral, Tuesday, 11 AM, New Hope Baptist Church. Interment, Winstead Family Cemetery, Bend of the River Road, Rocky Mount. Known for her smile of true friendship, Rosanne was comptroller at Barton College (ACC) from which she graduated and went on to become a CPA. She was a past president of the Kiwanis of Wilson and active in her church. There was a lot to be done, but there was always time to be a loving grandmother which she said was her greatest joy in life. Surviving is her husband, Steve F. Harrell; sons, Michael Harrell (Mary) of Wilson and Kevin Harrell (Lori) of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Thomas and Nathan Harrell; her mother, Violet Webb Williams Phillips and husband, Ernest, of Wilson; brothers, Tim Williams (Carolyn) of Wilson and Pat Williams (Sue) of Bridgeton. The family will be at New Hope Church, 5142 Hwy 58 N, Monday, beginning at 6:30 P.M. Memorials are suggested to the New Hope Church Building Fund.
