Robert Upchurch

Robert E. Upchurch, 77, of Hubert, formerly of Elm City, died Wednesday, August 30, 2023.

A graveside service will be Sunday, 2:00 PM, at Maplewood Cemetery.

Robert was the owner and operator of Robert Upchurch Construction and was an avid fisherman and he loved stock car racing.

He is survived by his significant other, Janet Jay; daughters, Lou Ann Boykin (Chris) of Sims and Tracy Glover (Dwight) of Elm City; sisters, Ruth Worrell (Ralph) and Marie Todd (Joe) of Elm City; brothers, Milton Upchurch (Donna) and Edward Upchurch (Carolyn) of Elm City.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, William David Upchurch and Mildred Page Upchurch; brother, Raymond Upchurch (Joyce).
