Robert Grant

Robert Lee Grant, 91, of Stantonsburg, died Thursday, June 23, 2022.

Funeral, Monday, 10:00 AM, First Baptist Church, Stantonsburg. Interment, Stantonsburg Cemetery. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Sunday, 6:00-7:30 PM.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Bailey Grant, in 2008; parents, Erastus and Stella Shingleton Grant; sisters, Geraldine Tyndall and Mary Frances Jernigan.

Mr. Grant was a maintenance supervisor for the Wilson County Public Schools for over 60 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Paula Sherrod (Anthony) of Bailey; grandson, Grant Sherrod of Greenville; sister, Carol Hill of Fuquay-Varina; brothers, Donnie Grant (Louise) of Snow Hill, Ronald Grant of Stantonsburg, Jimmy Grant (Judith) of Wilson and Billy Grant (Janice) of Johnson City, TN.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Brookdale Country Day Road Senior Living and Community Home Care and Hospice for the compassion and care shown to Mr. Grant during the past couple of months.
