Rev. Larry W. Barbour, 79, of Wilson, died Thursday, October 3, 2019.

Visitation, Saturday, 6:00-7:30 PM at Watson Grove Free Will Baptist Church, 8712 Watson Grove Church Rd, Kenly. Funeral, Sunday, 2:00 PM at the church. Interment, Monday, 2:00 PM, Wooten’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, 9825 Sauls Rd., Raleigh.

Larry served in the ministry in Eastern NC for 49 years. He was the minister at Watson Grove Free Will Baptist Church for 14 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lottie Smith Barbour; daughters, Beverly Cannon (Jerry) of Pikeville, Janet Creech (Rev. Steve) of Plymouth, Susan Brinson (Kelvin) of Wilson; grandchildren, Lindsay Cannon, Jessica Holiday (Matt), Jennifer Hill (Preston), Matthew Brinson (Summer), Andrew Brinson; great-grandchildren, Jalynn Holliday, Jayna Holliday, Lily Hill; sisters, Dorothy Smith of Garner, Betty Sawyer of Oxford, Helen Barbour of Raleigh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Callie Holmes and Aldus Howard Barbour; brother, Gene Barbour; sisters, Mag Young and Faye Nance; grandson, Brian Cannon.
