Wilson - Rev. Joseph H. Ingram, 71, died June 6, 2006, at his home. Rev. Dr. Ingram had served as a Free Will Baptist minister for 49 years and earned his doctorate from Covington Theological Seminary having graduated from Barton College earlier. He loved sports and founded an Officials Booking Agency for school in eastern North Carolina. His love for country was grounded in the fact he rose through the ranks of the North Carolina National Guard retiring with the rank of Lt. Col. Funeral, Thursday, 7:00 PM, First Free Will Baptist Church, Wilson, followed by a time of sharing with the family. Interment, Friday, 10:00 AM, Kenly Cemetery. Surviving is his wife, Peggy Flowers Ingram: daughter, Becky Huerta-Vega of Kenly: son, Michael "Mike" Ingram (Cindy) of Wilson: granddaughters, Amanda Huerta and Olivia Ingram: brother, Wayne Ingram of Four Oaks.
