WILSON - Raymond Pender Edmondson, Jr., died March 16, 2013 at UNC Memorial Hospital.
Rev. Dr. Tom Watkins will conduct a service of committal at the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden Thursday at 11:00, followed by visitation in the church parlor and Dudley Room.
Ray was the eldest son of the late Raymond & Edna Edmondson. He was born August 13, 1952 in Tarboro; the family moved to Wilson in 1966. Ray was a graduate of Ralph L. Fike High School and attended Campbell University. In his youth Ray was an avid golfer, enjoyed water skiing and was a fan of the Duke Blue Devils and Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his brother, Robert M. Edmondson of Wilson; aunt, Dot Moseley Schriefer of Baltimore, MD; uncle, George Moseley of Spartanburg, SC., as well as numerous cousins.
