WILSON - Raymond Duane Neeland, 57, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011.
Funeral, Saturday, 11 AM, First Baptist Church.
Ray was a mechanical designer for Waukesha Electric Systems, Goldsboro. He attended Wake Forest University, Barton College and completed his education at Wilson Community College. He enjoyed duplicate bridge and was a life master.
Surviving is his mother, Evelyn Barnes Neeland; sister, Lynn Barnes (Tank) of Elm City; brother, Dr. David B. Neeland (Elsie) of Montgomery, AL; nieces, Beth Thomas (Adam) of Wilson, Elizabeth Fetzer (Dave) of Charlotte, Leslie Harvey (Thomas) of San Francisco, CA; great-niece, Virginia Webb Harvey; step-nephew, Thomas Barnes of Wilson. A special thank you to his home health nurse, Pam Dehici, who gave care that Ray appreciated so much as did the entire Neeland family. She will not be forgotten.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Friday, 6:30 - 7:30 PM.
