FREMONT - Larry Ray Murray, 72, died Saturday, Christmas Eve, December 24, 2011.
Funeral, Wednesday, 7 PM, First Pentecostal Church, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.
Ray was a local freight deliveryman and had served in the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lillian Teachey Murray; brothers, Douglas "Bo" Murray and Sherwood Murray.
Surviving is his daughter, Lisa Rae Murray Little of Henderson; son, Larry S. Murray of Wilson; grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Little, Bryce Murray, Scott and Stuart Penman; sisters, Linda Proctor (Thomas) of Fremont, Christine Hites (Bill) and Shirley Kelly, both of Wilson; brothers, Jimmy Murray (Linda) of Wilson, Joey and Jerry Murray, both of Fremont; former wife and mother of his children, Jean Aycock Murray of Wilson; devoted friend, Ann Summerlin of Wilson.
