Randy Kight

WILSON - Randy Hall Kight, 61, died Sunday, May 12, 2013.

The family will be at Farmington Heights Church, Wednesday, beginning at 6:00 PM, with the funeral at 7:30 PM.

She received her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education as well as her Masters in Learning Disability Education from East Carolina University. She taught in Duplin and Wilson County School Systems until her retirement in 2005.

Anyone who knew or met Randy was always touched by her positive attitude, optimistic and cheerful caring nature. She spent her life loving, teaching and serving special needs children, as well as everyone else who was a part of her life. Her faith in God and her dedication to Him were an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She fought a brave battle against cancer and her family wants to thank all of her medical care-givers and friends for their constant support.

She is survived by her husband, Herman B. Kight, Jr.; son, Brian Kight (Ashley) of Wilson; granddaughter, Hailey Kight; sisters, Pam
Gray (Mike) of Chocowinity and Sharon Wright (Tom) of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, John Hall (Vickie) of Fort Meyers Beach, FL.

As a very active member of her church, memorials are suggested to Farmington Heights Church, 910 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896 and to the American Cancer Society, 1207 Peachtree Rd, NW, Wilson, NC 27896.
