WILSON - Rachel Glover Paschall, 86, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, in Riverside, Calif., where she had lived since 2005. Funeral, Saturday, May 19, 2007, 2:00 PM, Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson, Old Section. She was born Aug. 14, 1920 in Wilson to the late Cleo Taylor Glover and Cleveland J. Glover Sr. Rachel graduated from Atlantic Christian College in 1942. She taught in Wilson, Bailey, Durham and Asheville and retired from Aycock Elementary School in 1982. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Asheville, a member of Kappa Kappa Iota Sorority, past president of Epsilon Conclave and past state president of the NC Rho State. Rachel was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by many. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn and husband, Coy Arrington, of Wilson: her son, Ed and wife, Jane Paschall, of Riverside, Calif.: two grandchildren, Jennifer and Matt Paschall of Corona, Calif.: sisters, Margaret Hicks and Geraldine Peel of Fuquay-Varina: brother, C J Glover Jr. and sister-in-law, Sybil Glover, of Wilson: several nieces: three stepgrandchildren: and one step great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Thomas H. Glover.
