WILSON - Rachel Britt Parker, 85, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013.
Funeral, Friday, 1:00 PM, First Baptist Church, following by a time of visiting and sharing. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
She retired from the Department of Social Services in 1987. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Parker, in 2002; parents, Van and Nannie Pittman Britt; sister, Ellen B. Pittman; brother, Johnnie Britt.
Surviving are her daughters, Terry Walston Pridgen (Richie) of Wilson and Becky Walston Davis (Joe) of Greenville; son, Dale B. Walston (Debbie) of Haymarket, VA; grandchildren, Tracie Ange (fiancé, Rich Greenleaf), Matthew Davis (Kelly), Tina Turner (Scott); great-grandchildren, Karson and Walter Ange, Ethan and Grace Davis; sister, Allie B. Jones of Wilson; caring nieces and nephews; caregiver, Margie Harris.
