Pete Lamm

Millard Douglas “Pete” Lamm, 45, of Elm City, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 5, 2024 surrounded by his family.

Pete was a loving Father, to Tyson and Tyler; a loving son to Millard and Edna and a loving brother to Terri, Tim, Daniel and Stephen. 

Pete was an outstanding athlete, an avid sports fan (especially the Florida State Seminoles) and really took pride in knowing his athletic facts and sports history. Pete will be remembered for his passion for his family, his love for animals (especially his dogs) and his willingness to give his heart to those that believed in him and loved him. One of his many proud accomplishments was graduating college to become a respiratory therapist. He had so many patients that he befriended and impacted their lives with his smile, personality and witty humor.

Surviving are his two sons, Tyson Ellis Lamm of Nashville and Tyler East (Logan) of Wilson; parents, Millard and Edna Keel Lamm with whom he lived; sister, Terri Barnes Britt (Dickie) of Kernersville; brothers, Stephen Lamm (Wendy) of Colorado, Tim Barnes (Cara) of Elm City, and Daniel Lamm (Cameron) of Wilson; nieces, Summer Barnes and Whitley Lamm; nephews Austin, Carson, and Caleb Britt, Evan and Culper Lamm and Jackson Barnes.

Funeral will take place Monday at 6:00 pm at Wilson Memorial Service followed by a time of visiting and sharing with family. Burial will be Tuesday, 10:00 am at the Farmer-Lamm Family Cemetery at their residence.
