Penny Cooley

Penny Partin Cooley, 78, of Fremont, died Wednesday, June  12, 2019.

Funeral, Sunday, 3:00 PM, Fremont United Methodist Church, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.

Penny graduated from East Carolina University and taught elementary school for nearly 30 years retiring from Fremont Elementary School.

She is survived by her daughter, Nel Whaley (Chris) of Fremont; sons, Bob Cooley (Meghan) of Raleigh and Burt Cooley (Cindy) of Dudley; grandchildren, Mason, Tyler and Hannah Cooley, Kristian and Cody Whaley; a sister, Debby Davis (Pete) of Scotland Neck.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Fremont United Methodist Church, PO Box 147, Fremont, NC  27830.
