Peggy Stott

Peggy Joan Temple Stott, 83, of Knightdale, formerly of Wilson, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, into the arms of her Savior on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Though we are saddened by her passing, we rejoice that her earthly suffering has ended, and that she entered into the glory of God hearing the words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, September 22, at Wilson Memorial Service, Wilson. Interment will follow at Bailey Cemetery, Bailey. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 2:00-3:00, prior to the service. 

Peggy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed every day.

Peggy is survived by her faithful and livelong companion Robert Lee Stott of Wilson, daughter, Rebecca Newsome and husband, Larry, of Clayton, son, Glen Stott of Wilson and daughter, Jennifer Lowe and husband Todd, of Sanford; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
