SPRING HOPE - Peggy Varnell Joyner, 74, died Thursday, October 16, 2014.
Funeral, Sunday, 3 PM, Wilson Memorial Service. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
She was owner of Joyner's Upholstery and taught the skill at Wilson Community College for several years.
She is survived by daughters, Terri Whitaker (Terrell) of Wilson and Wanda Hite (Mark) of Wake Forest; sons, Thomas "Tommy" Joyner (Brenda) of
Wilson and Dennis Joyner (Cindy) of Spring Hope; grandchildren, Matthew Felton, Pamela Gardner (Adam), Lauren Hite, Philip Hite, Zachary Joyner
(Rebecca), Logan Joyner, Nicole Joyner and Seth Joyner; step-grandchildren, Carie Davis (Ben), Sabrina Hutto (Jeremy) Dustin Whitaker; great-grandchildren, James Gardner, Parker Gardner, Jenifer Davis, Lena Davis and Lucy Hutto; brothers, Floyd Varnell (Cleo) of Wilson and Ed Varnell (Mary) of KY; brother-in-law, James Gardner of Wilson.
Preceding her in death was a grandson, Joshua Joyner; husband, Clifton "Ted" Joyner; sister, Jo Ann Gardner and parents, Bolen Floyd and Mabel Christine Taylor Varnell.
The family will be at the funeral home, Saturday, 6:00 - 7:30 PM.
