Wilson - Paul Branch Bissette, Jr, 81, died January 25, 2008. He was a pharmacist in the family firm, Bissette Drug Company, for 45 years. From high school, he entered UNC-Chapel Hill at the age 16 to study pharmacy and military service interrupted his studies. Following the war,he returned to Carolina to complete his studies. While in Chapel Hill, he he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. Returning to Wilson, he was active in the Chamber of Commerce and helped develop their "Free Enterprise" program, was a scoutmaster in Troop #17 at St Timothy's, Jaycee and Kiwanis of Wilson member and served on the board of the NC Retail Merchants Association. In pharmacy, he was a member of the county and state pharmacy associations, the NC Pharmacy Foundation and the NC State Board of Health. Funeral, Monday, 2 PM, St Timothy's Episcopal Church with a time of visiting and sharing following the service. Surviving is his wife, Bettie Clyde "Bootsie" Hill Bissette; sons, James Robert "Rob" Bissette
