PIKEVILLE - Patti Fulghum Howell, 47, of the Pikes Crossroads community, died Wednesday, August 5, 2015.
Funeral, Saturday, 6:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Dr, N, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Interment, Sunday, 2:00 PM, Evergreen Cemetery, Highway 70, between Goldsboro and Princeton.
She was a teacher at Forest Hills Middle School, Wilson, for 23 years. A graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School in 1986, she went on to attend Mount Olive University and graduated from East Carolina University. Her favorite Nascar driver was Bill Elliott and when time permitted - it was sewing and singing.
Surviving are her daughters, Michaela Howell of Fremont, Avery Howell of the home; mother, Mary Lee S. Fulghum of Pikeville; sister, Virginia F. Kearney (Hank) of Fremont; brother, T.C. Fulghum (Barbara) of Fremont, nephews; Kyle Kearney and Matthew Kearney; maternal aunt, Ernestine S. McKeel of Goldsboro.
