Ola Woodard

Ola Dell Freeman Woodard, 96, of Wilson, died Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

Funeral, Saturday, 2:00 PM, Good News Advent Christian Church.  Burial will be in the church cemetery. 

Many will remember her from Cherry’s Restaurant, where she made friends for over 25 years.

Surviving are her daughters, Faye Dawson of Lucama, Ann Evans (John Lee) of Wilson, Jean Pate and Tammy Taylor (Mike) of Stantonsburg; son, Robert “Robbie” Woodard, Jr. (Karen) of Wilson; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Wooten, Agnes Carter and Margaret Garner; brothers, Buck Freeman and Henry Freeman. 

Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert E. Woodard in 1984; parents, Benjamin and Nettie Pearl Jones Freeman of Nash County; grandson, Neal Dawson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested Good News Church, PO Box 195, Saratoga, NC 27873.
