Newman Parris

Newman G. Parris, 85, of Wilson, died Thursday, July 15, 2021.

A service to celebrate his life will be at Wilson Memorial Service on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM followed by visitation.

Mr. Parris was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Grimsley Parris; daughter, Teresa Howard; sons, Vince and Hilton Parris; parents, Albert and Elizabeth Moore Parris.

He was retired from White’s Tire Service.

He is survived by his sons, Al Parris (Carlette) of Elm City and Charlie Keen (Melissa and family) of Selma; grandchildren, Jessica Parris (William McLamb) of Raleigh; Brian Parris (Jessica) of Fuquay Varina and Chris Howard (Sara) of Wilson; sister, Nancy Russell of Wilson.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Home Delivered Meals, 2101 Tarboro Street, Ste C, Wilson, NC 27893.
