Nettie Parker Barnes, 91, of Wilson, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014.
Funeral, Saturday, 11 AM, Evergreen Memorial Park conducted by Dr. Bobby Hobgood. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Friday, 7-8:30 PM.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Barnes, Jr; parents, Cleveland and Gertie Joyner Parker and brothers, Grover and Ronald Parker.
Mrs. Barnes is survived by her sons, Donnie Barnes (Martha) of Wilson, Dennis Barnes (Linda) of Elm City and Doug Barnes (Ann) of Kinston; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; special niece, Joanie Fisher of Wilkesboro; nieces, Lisa Hutchinson and Gail Brewer both of Wilson and special friends, Steve and Donna Davis of Wilson.
