Nell Page Delapp, 91, of Lucama, died peacefully, Thursday, July 29, 2021, in her home with her family at her side.
Funeral, Monday, 11:00 AM, Wilson Memorial Service. The family will be at the funeral home, Sunday, 6:30 – 8:00 PM.
Many will remember her from Sears and then 27 years with a courteous smile as she served at the cash register at Parker’s Barbecue.
Mrs. Delapp was preceded in death by her husband, Royal “Mike” Delapp; daughter, Patsy Whitley; parents, James Redin Page and Zelphia Batts Page of Wilson County.
She is survived by her son, Tommy Owens (Vickie) of Lucama; grandchildren, Brandy Hornsby (Jon), Keisha Owens, Tonya Clark, Lori O’Briant (A.J.) and Tamsey Ezzell; seven great-grandchildren including Timmy Clark (fiancé, Taherah Simms); five great-grandchildren; brother, Ricky Page (Brenda) of Tarboro; caretaker, Janie Summerlin.
