Surviving: wife, Joyce Overby Garner: son, Needham J. Garner, Jr. (Cathy) of Lucama: daughter, Mary Grace Grimsley of Black Creek: grandchildren, Justin, Anna and Jessica Garner, Heather and Dale Grimsley: sisters, Shirley Murphy of Black Creek and Marie Matthews of Elm City.
