WILSON - Nancy Armstrong Lane, 77, died Friday, July 8, 2011.
Funeral, Tuesday, 11 AM, First Baptist Church. Interment, Tuesday, 4 PM, Beaver Hill Cemetery, Edenton.
She lived in the Edenton area before moving to Wilson to be near her daughter. Back home she was a member of Yeopim Baptist Church. Her husband, Thurman Earl Lane, died in 1989.
Surviving is her daughter, Candace "Candy" Murray (Douglas) of Wilson; son, Ervin Lane (Patti) of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Whitney M. Lanier (Jay); David Lane (Samantha) and Adam Lane; great-grandchildren, Micah, Isla and Ava Lane; sisters, Diane Spencer of Edenton and Faye Weston of Nags Head.
Memorials are suggested to the Baptist Children's Home of NC, PO Box 338, Thomasville, NC 27361.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Monday, 7-8 PM.
