Mildred Marlowe

Mildred Combs Marlowe, 87, of Kirkwood and formerly of Fremont, died Thursday, February 5, 2009, in Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Rex Marlowe. Mrs. Marlowe was born in Wayne County to the late Nathan Addison and Ola Mae Pate Combs. She was preceded in death by sisters, Aileen Elmore, Virginia Williford and Peggy Whitfield; brothers, H.B. Combs, Bob Combs and Leonard Combs. Many will remember her years with the sewing operations in Princeton and Fremont. The family expresses their gratitude to her special friends, Mary Parsons, Peggy Rhew and all her neighbors at Kirkwood Retirement Center. Funeral, Sunday, 2 PM, Fremont FWB Church, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Surviving are sons, Rex Douglas Marlowe
