Mildred Lamm

Mildred Lamm Lamm, 95, of Wilson, died Thursday, June 15, 2023.

Funeral, Monday, 2:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by at time of visiting and sharing.  Interment in Evergreen Memorial Park beside her husband, J. C. Lamm, Jr, who died in 1970. 

Mrs. Lamm graduated from Charles L. Coon High School in 1945.  She enjoyed working at BB&T for nearly 38 years before retiring from the Mortgage Loan Department as a Vice-President in 1995. 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded by her son, David, who died in
2007;  parents, David I. and Nina Pearson Lamm; sisters, Caroline Lamm, Lorine Lamm, Velma Bobbitt, Elaine Parker; brothers, Mashburn Lamm and Alton Lamm.

Surviving is her granddaughter, Lisa Hammett (Rich) of Doraville, GA; great-grandchildren, Alex and Elise Hammett; step-grandsons, Joey Grisanti of Asheville and Trevor Grisanti of Raleigh; sisters, Laverle Batten and Erline Batten of Wilson; brother, Floyd Lamm (Aurora) of Sun City, SC; daughter-in-law, Connie Baker Lamm of Raleigh, loving nieces and nephews..

Memorials are suggested to Shiloh PH Church, Women’s Ministries, 5843 Shiloh Church Rd, Wilson, NC 27896.
