Mary Watson

Elm City - Mary Elizabeth Moore Watson, 83, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 8, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Watson, in 1998. Mary loved the Lord and her family. Family was very important and she always wanted her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to be close around her. She was employed by JC Penney Company for more than 30 years retiring on her 80th birthday in 2003. Funeral, Friday, 11 AM, Maplewood Cemetery, Section B, Wilson. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Hilda Gray Watson, Betty Joyner, Peggy Ann Lamm (Dennis) of Elm City: a son, Charles Thomas Watson (Terry) of Wilson: grandchildren, Elise Jefferson (Dwight) of Pinetops, Wanda Joyner (Jarol), Michelle Lamm Johnson (Jacob), Michael Watson Lamm of Elm City, John Watson and Mary Nicole Watson of Wilson: two great-grandchildren, Briley Joyner and Peyton Davis of Elm City. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Dr, Wilson, Thursday, 7 - 8:30 PM, and other times at 217 Watson Lane, Elm City.
