WILSON - Marvin L. Woodard, 82, died December 1, 2007. He was a native of Wilson County, military veteran and retired language teacher in Halifax County Schools. He recently located from Roanoke Rapids to Wilson to be closer to his family. Funeral, Wednesday, 2 PM, First FWB Church. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. Surviving are sisters, Larue Craft and Carol Campbell of Wilson, Pauline Benton of Lucama: several nieces and nephews. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Tuesday, 7 - 8 PM, and other times at 4302 Ironwood Drive, N. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Remembrances are suggested to the First FWB Church Building Fund, 4865 Nash St, NW, Wilson NC 27896.
