WILSON - Marvin J. Register, 92, of Wilson, died Saturday, July 7, 2018.
Funeral, Wednesday, 2:00 PM, Forest Hills Baptist Church, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Entombment, Evergreen Memorial Park, with his wife, Eloise Parker Register, who died in April, 2016. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Tuesday, 6:30 – 8:00 PM.
Surviving is his son, Joseph M. Register of Wilson; grandchildren, Brian Register (Lori) of Raleigh and Chris Register of Battleboro; great-grandchildren, Emily, Reagan, Brooks and Sydney Register.
He was retired from Thurston Motor Lines and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Register restored old cars and could sometimes be seen in town driving his antique vehicles.
Memorials are suggested to the Forest Hills Baptist Church, 1407 Forest Hills Rd, NW, Wilson, NC 27896.
