Marjorie Ladwig

WILSON - Marjorie Foster Ladwig, 93, died Sunday, September 20, 2015.

Funeral, Thursday, 10 AM, First United Methodist Church. Interment will be for and at the convenience of the family.

Mrs. Ladwig was a native of Sioux City, IA. She was a graduate of Morningside College in Sioux City where she and her husband, Dr. Harlold A. Ladwig met in 1941. She was the daughter of educators. Her father, Harry Foster was a Superintendent and her mother, Maude Wilson Foster was a teacher. Mrs. Ladwig taught high school English and French. She was and excellent wife and mother and was always available to help her family with all experiences and she loved to travel. The Ladwigs came to Wilson in 1983 where Dr. Ladwig practiced neurology until 1999.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Harold A. Ladwig; daughter, Rosemary Ladwig of the home; son, Dr. Stephen Ladwig and wife, Linda, of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Jason Ladwig and wife, Katie, Juliana Soin and husband, Dr. Sandy, and Elizabeth Ladwig; great-grandchildren, Noelle and Cole Ladwig and Kira Soin and sister, Maxine Bohner of Sioux City, IA.
