Margie Strickland

Margie Allen Strickland, 93, of Wilson, died Monday, May 27, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Connect Church, (formerly the First Free Will Baptist Church) at 4865 Nash Street NW, Wilson, followed by visitation.  Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Mrs. Strickland is survived by her sons, Jerry Barbely (Mickey) of Talbott, TN; Gary Barbely of Wilson, and daughters, Evelyn Slominsky (Lloyd) of Wake Forest and Jane Elliott (Ken) of Winnabow.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Strickland; parents Norman and Dida Allen; brothers Kenneth Allen and Ray Allen; sisters, Helen Matthews, Shirley Collier, and Mildred Burton.
