MACCLESFIELD - Maggie Wells Toler, 90, of Macclesfield and formerly of Fremont, died Friday, March 18, 2011. Funeral, Sunday, 6 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting. Burial, Monday, 11 AM, Hastings Cemetery, in the Rosewood community of Wayne County. Surviving are her daughters, Rachel Ruffin of Whitakers, Jean Summerlin (Albert Ray) of Macclesfield; son, Rev Billy Toler (Margie) of Elm City; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Toler; daughters, Annette Sasser and Linda McSwain; parents, Luther and Fronie Strickland Wells; sisters, Bessie Wells and Ruth Wells; brothers, Alex, Leamon and Harvey Wells.
